Michigan Trip – Day 6 – Cincinnati

September 8, 2024 – As we traveled from Bay City, on Sunday morning, we were very fortunate to be able to meet with Ken and Keli Oldham, and Frank and Pat Camper. We met for lunch after they got out of church. It was a fun time catching up with each of our families. We have a special place in our hearts for the Oldham/Camper families. Ken and Keli just flew in to Detroit the day before. They were on vacation in Florida. We were so fortunate to meet together.

Later that evening we arrived at our hotel, aLoft by Marriott in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, West Chester. We decided to stay in this area for a specific restaurant… Skyline Chili. They serve the famous Cincinnati Chili, which is composed of spaghetti, meat, chili, onions and lots of cheese! We were introduced to this many years ago and anytime we are in this area, we make sure we eat here.

Tomorrow, we head to Bardstown, Kentucky. A town where some of Renee’s relatives used to live. It is an old town that has lots of sites.
