Alaska Trip Day 7 – Hubbard Glacier

Today we will be staying on the ship while we pass through to see the Hubbard Glacier. We ate breakfast on the Lido Deck and ate too much!
About 11am, we signed up to play bingo. We played 4 games and had 6 cards per game. Teresa won the 3rd game along with 1 other person. They split the pot of $238 cash… $119 in her pocket! Renee was bummed.
Stopped by the casino for a short game or two. Didn’t win anything. She like the game where you insert a quarter and it drops onto a platform that moves back and forth in hopes of pushing the bulk of the quarters toward the drop pan. She gained a couple of quarters, but played them until they were all gone. Tomorrow will be another day…
Had lunch on the Lido Deck. Renee had a hamburger and I had Asian seafood.
After lunch, Renee and Teresa went shopping at the ship stores. Mike and I came back to the room to take a short rest.
Then the ship was in Disenchantment Bay to see the Hubbard Glacier. Quite impressive.
Later ate supper at the pizza place called New York Pizza, each of us getting a pepperoni pizza each family shared. Then we returned to the Lido Deck to get ice cream and cookies. After that we returned to the room for the night.
